A 15-member delegation from the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) left for Bangkok for a six-day official visit until February 13, yesterday. The delegation’s programme includes a four-day trip to an ancient city of Ayutthaya, around 85km north of Bangkok, where they will visit the public schools and attend school events.
The delegation is scheduled to attend a meeting with officials from the Teacher’s Council of Thailand (KHURUSAPHA) at the council’s Headquarters in Bangkok on February 12.
The visit aims to strengthen collaborations of the teachers. KHURUSAPHA is the leading organisation for teaching profession in Thailand. Both organisations are also member countries of ASEAN Council of Teachers (ACT).
